INITIAL CONSULTATION 

All projects are collaborative, so begin with an initial consultation. This is an opportunity for Shan to get to know you, to discuss your scope of works in detail and for you to ensure that Shan is best suited for your project needs. 

Following this meeting, you will receive a tailored proposal outlining the service fees to complete the scope of works discussed. Giving you a clear vision, direction and flow for your project.

CONCEPT DESIGN

Working with you in the project’s early stages, Shan will help to develop your vision by discussing your ideas, preferred style and wish list for the space.

From there, Shan will develop an overall concept, mood board and refined design direction for your project. This will illustrate the finer details and inspiration so that you can begin to ENVISAGE the look and feel of your project.

The refined concept design will become the framework for all our design and aesthetic decisions.  

MATERIAL FINISHES

One of the most important elements when renovating is to make considered design decisions that bring COHESION to your project.

By making the right design decisions from the beginning you will curate a sense of harmony, balance, and calm, making your house feel like a home.

Based on the Concept Design for your project, the finishes and finer details can then be selected. This involves selecting everything from the flooring and paint scheme, to door hardware and kitchen joinery, as well as bathroom fixtures and fittings. 

To help make the process seamless Shan will visit the showrooms, narrowing down the endless possibilities to then present you with a curated selection of finishes and fixtures that will best complement your design direction.

Then, once approved, will develop a schedule of fixtures and fittings which can be communicated to your builder. 

STYLING & DECORATING 

Adding the finishing touches to your home or bringing a space together with attention to detail, Shan’s styling work adds textural layers to a space and lends warmth to any room.

Drawing upon the Concept Design for your project, Shan will help to source the finer details for styling your home. This can include everything from furniture selection and placement, to artworks and decorative items, lighting and rugs.
